Skin Care Review: Reviva Peptides and More Anti-wrinkle Cream

by Brian, jacksonville, FL, usa

Rating
Good

Benefits
slight reduction in wrinkles/lines. mild lifting effect

Drawbacks
Left skin oily until washed off. After several weeks of use, caused mild acne breakouts

Details
i purchased this product mainly because it had several ingredients in it that i read could help slow down and even help reverse the effects of aging. specifically fine lines running from nose to corners of mouth and facial sagging. those ingredients were dmae, ester-c, plus palmitoyl-3 (the key ingredient in strivectin.) plus it was not too expensive and available at my local vitamin shoppe. i've been using it for about 6 weeks and can definetly say there has been some diminishing in my fine lines and wrinkles.. maybe 20% or so. Also after using it, i fell there is also definelty a slight but noticable tightning effect, but this seems to be only temporary- maybe 12- 24 hours? i don't know if i can completly contribute the minor results i've seen to the cream, because i've made major changes in my diet and have included facial massage and some facial exercises into my regimen as well. in fact, i mainly use this as a lubricant base when doing the massage in stead of just rubbing it in... i should mention that the face is somewhat flushed and slightly swollen immediately afterwards (30 -60 min), but then i definetly notice some lifting effect with tighter more vibrant looking skin.

Conclusions
next time i think i'll try the much cheaper dmae cream with alpha-lipoic acid and ester-c
