Skin Care Review: Skin Biology Trireduction with copper peptides

by syn, San Francisco, CA usa

Rating
No effect

Benefits
Good lotion for oily skin. Non greasy.

Drawbacks
smelly scent, green color cream give skin a green tint

Details
When I first read up on the Skin Biology products, I was excited to try the product. So I bought the highest concentrated lotion - the Trireduction. This cream was supposedly used to heal wounds with success and it also was suppose to regenerate collagen formation. This product was similar to Neutrogena Active Copper. It was suppose to work much better than the Neutrogena active copper and even better than Retina-a at reducing wrinkles without developing skin sensitivities. Sound good, but was it? I bought the cream 3 years ago and used it for two year and expecting my fine wrinkles around my eyes lessen. Did they? They are still there two years later. The product was smelly and tinted my skin a transparent green color. I used it day and night everyday. It was nongreasy, so it was good, since I have oily skin, but sometimes it feels dry on my skin. So no changes what so ever.

Then I added Neutrogena Healthy Skin with alpha hydroxy acid lotion as my night cream and the Skin bioloyg as a day cream. Then I saw changes on my skin - fine wrinkle diminished a tine bit and my skin is glowing, and it's very soft. Now those are results. Thus the less expensive Neutrogena Healthy skin did what the overhyped Skin Biology product could not. I can't believe people think this Skin Biology product works on wrinkles or evening out the skin or anything other than moisturize your skin. It's just a good lotion, with no anti-aging property. I think I should see some results after 2 years of use. I was patient and I thought it might take a while but after two wasted years, it sorts of ticks me off, but at least I know it doesn't work and now you do as well. If you want smooth, even, and glowing skin, buy Neutrogena Healthy skin, it only took one month for me to see the changes.

Conclusions
Not recommended. Product is not an anti-aging product.
