Skin Care Review: Retinol-A Wrinkle Cream

by Paula Kervinen, Helsinki, Finland

Product: Retinol-A Wrinkle Cream

Manufacturer: Young & Again (www.youngagain2000.com)

Time I have used the product: 4 months

Ingredients: Water, propylene glycol, sorbitol, glyceryl stearate, stearic acid, dimethicone, 300 000 I.U. Vitamin-A palmitate per ounce, Vitamin-E acetate.

Price: $18 for 2 oz

I have used this retinol product for about four months and have been satisfied with it. I purchased it originally because due to muscle tension in my forehead there was a visible wrinkle which I wanted to get rid of. Now the wrinkle is just a very thin line compared to what it used to be. Although I’m sure my habit of paying attention to not to frown and sleeping on my back has something to do with it, I’m also positive the cream I’ve been using has had some positive effect. Besides, it works quite well as a moisturizer too, because of Vitamin-E in it I suppose. Also, it is not greasy or oily, neither does it cause breakouts or irritation. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product, the price is reasonable and the ingredients seem simple, safe, and effective. Maybe the only drawback for me is that I had to pay extra customs taxes since I ordered this product to Finland. Also, it makes the skin a little bit more sensitive to the sun.
