At the age of 28 I was developing unwanted large pores on my nose. I went to a plastic surgeon to see what could be done about it and he said that a dermabrasion would smooth out the skin. After the procedure and then a few months to let the skin normalize I noticed pores in areas that I did not have in the past. Since the pores are larger as you go deeper into the skin the dermabrasion only uncovered them and left me worse off then when I started. The Doctor agreed and gave me back my money. My only regret is that I should have listened to the Dermatologist and not the Plastic surgeon who told me what I wanted to hear.
