Age 48. Skin normal. Not excessive wrinkles, but a few crows feet and brow creases I'd like to diminish, plus some uneveness in skin tone.

A cosmetics store gave me free samples of a Cellex-C product regimen: the C High Potency Serum, followed by the Hydra 5 B-complex, followed by the Bio Botanical moisturizer. I was so impressed by the results, that I got online and ordered the products ($138 total for the 3, which was a great price, half of what the retail store charged). I thought I saw real improvement in the first several weeks, and kept it up for 3+ mos, then ordered a second round of the products. I noticed fewer results and eventually switched to another brand. I am hopelessly confused now about what works now, as the other regiment (Murad serum + moisturizer) left me feeling like my pores looked larger, but the cost of the Cellex C has gone up (or rather the place I found it discounted online has stopped carrying it!) and I'm just not sure it's worth the money.

Conclusions
Expensive skin care regimens only cause you to pay more attn to your skin...
