Skin Care Review: Mary Kay TimeWise

by Laura Bramble

Rating
Excellent

Benefits
Clearer skin, smaller pores, luminosity, reduced wrinkles

Drawbacks
A bit of irritation, cost

Details
I bought the Miracle Set, which includes cleanser, moisturizer, day treatment and night treatment. I later purchased the microdermabrasion kit, firming eye cream and line reducer. I have been using the line for 7 months. I also use the acne treatment on breakouts.

I have sensitive skin and before using this had a rash on my face from using an all-natural product. Nothing made the rash go away until this. Gone within days. My pores are smaller, my skin (which always had a pimple on it somewhere) is clear except right before my period and even then gets only one or maybe two smaller pimples. Overall, my skin looks better now at 38 then it has in my entire life! I had the beginning of crow's feet, which have completely vanished. The acne treatment is fantastic without being drying. I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone and have seen my mother and sister's skin improve using these products.

The only downsides- the line reducer has worked a little on one spot by the corner of my mouth, but not enough to be worth the cost for me. Also, I can only use the firming eye cream on my crow's feet and not on the fine lines right under and in the corners of my eyes or my upper eyelids. It causes redness and bumps. I have always gotten contact dermatitis from just about anything I put on my upper lids, so I have to be fair. I wish I could use it completely unde my eye, because I know it would work as well as it did on my crow's feet, but oh well. I use another brand's refined pure olive oil there and have no problem with irritation but no effect on those lines like the MK eye cream.

It is not cheap, but it really does last a long time and it works, so it is worth it for me! I probably would not buy the Line Reducer again, but everything else is FANTASTIC! For the record, I have tried just about everything else in all different price ranges and I do NOT sell Mary Kay, nor have I ever sold Mary Kay.

Conclusions
Overall, I love MK Timewise and do not ever plan on using anything else.
