Skin Care Review: Olay Regenerist Line

by Edi De Stefano Garcia, Long Valley, NJ USA

Rating
Good

Benefits
User-friendly dispenser packaging, effective in all seasons except a Northeast winter.

Drawbacks
The products stop functioning well as the weather and environment become drier.

Details
In my adult life, I have used everything from Borghese to Milennium to Aveda to Mary Kay to Olay, and have finally settled on the Olay line because it is easily available, relatively inexpensive (about $20 for each product in the line) and it seems to be a proven product since it has been around for a very long time. I have also become very disillusioned about the hype of the expensive lines, and just refuse to buy them anymore. The only reason to buy them seems to be the packaging..they look great as decorative items (just kidding here). OLAY Regenerist products make my skin feel smooth and look 'bright'. I have never had acne or breakout problems, and have small pores, so I don't have to be too picky about my products. However, I live in the Northeast, where in the winter homes are dry and the weather outside is harsh, and I have found that as I am aging the products do not continue to work as well under those conditions. So I am continuing my search for something additional to use during the winter, though I have not found it yet. For the other three seasons of the year, though, OLAY Regenerist products are very good and I continue to use them.

Conclusions
Reasonable cost, good effect for moderate climates.
