I had 4 syringes of artecoll injected in my lips to plump them up due to age related thinning of my lips. It was great at first, but after about a year, it almost seemed to have "worn off". My lips were just as thin as they ever had been. I understand that this procedure seems to work better on depressions, such as a deep wrinkle or nasolabial folds than for generalized plumping. I eventually got a "lip lift" and had medical grade silicone injected in my lips, which produced the desired effect.

Conclusions
It might be worth a try for a wrinkle, but not lips
