Intense Pulse light (IPL) is a skin rejuvenation procedure that requires no down time, which is an important consideration for working people. I had it done mainly to remove the small veins around my cheeks.The ideal is to have a series of 3 or 4 treatments spaced by 3 weeks intervals. There was no downtime, just some redness for a couple of hours after the procedure.
As a result, my skin is smoother, the small veins have disappeared, my skin is tighter around the jaws and the pore size smaller on the forehead and nose areas.
Conclusions
I would highly recommend it for rosacea and for aging skin.
