Skin Care Review: Cellex-C Advanced C Serum

I have a pretty normal skin, no acne, firm, smooth etc. But this changes about a year or two ago, when I broke out with worst acne case in my life. And I also lost weight drastically. I guess it's my hormones acting up! I tried a local brand Vitamin A serum recommended by the brand aesthetician to reduce the acne and it did. But it left my face very dry, I also had dry, quite deep lines on my cheeks I have never had before when I smile or laugh, and most of the time I feel my face was swollen, not to mention some red burning patches on my cheeks. To top it of, my face look kind of 'sagging' as I had lost considerable fat. Especially on my eye area, whenever I smile or laugh, the skin seems to bunch or folded up and results in wrinkles.

I had read in forums about the Cellex-C serum and how everyone says it's wonderful. So I went to eBay and purchased a 4 small sample bottles (total up to 15ml) of Cellex-c Advanced C serum for about $16. I chose the advance formula because I couldn't wait to make my skin feel and look better.

First time application, it stings a bit, but it was gone before I even realized it. The serum is brownish in colour (normal oxidation process) and as I bought the sample bottle without the pipette it is very hard to apply.

The serum was sticky on the skin but after a while the stickiness went away and the skin felt smooth. After a few days, I saw some improvement in my skin. First of all, my face was not swollen anymore, the red burning patches were gone and my skin felt normal for the first time in quite a long time.

It has been almost a month now and I am so glad that my skin is improving day by day! Acne breakout is no more, occasional small pimples only when it is time for my period. The small pitted acne scar I had seem to be less noticeable (but it's still there..agghh). The facial lines are softer and best of all, my skin is firming up!

I had not rated it 'Excellent' because I had only been using it for a month. The Cellex-C website said the effect will be seen within 6 - 8 weeks.

Conclusions
High quality product and recommended to those who are not sensitive to Vitamin C.
