This product is one of five that you receive in something called the Peel Prep Kit. I have found all the Cosmedix products to be extremely effective but the key to using them is knowing how much and when to apply them. Just a dab too much and your skin becomes red and irritated. You must work closely with your facialist to determine what regimin is going to work best for you and your particualar skin needs and concerns. You use this product every other night with another product called Defy. I have found that I can only use a small amount for 2-3 nights and then I must go back to my comforting, soothing products or my skin turns into a red, burning mess. Like I said, the trade off with the irritation is that they ARE highly effective at what they do but what is needed is a somewhat painful trial period to determine how these products are going to do the best job for you.

Conclusions
The best recommendation is to work close with your facialist!
