This vitamin C product is in gel cap form so I know each application is fresh. According to the label it contains a 10% concentrate of vitamin C in the form of L-Ascorbic acid. It goes on very silky and is absorbed quickly but does not moisturize sufficiently (in addition, I use a combination of retinol with a moisturizer). I'm in my late forties and I have combination skin and although I am prone to rosecea, this product does not irritate my skin. If I stop using it for several days, my skin does not feel as plump and soft. It's not a dramatic difference, but a noticable one.

Conclusions
I only wish I could use it twice a day but it is too expensive.
