Skin Care Review: Neova Copper Peptide Serum
by wyatt, Los Angeles, CA, United States
tightening, reduced melasma
can't use with other acidic preparations, especially vitamin c products
I just purchased the Neova Copper Peptide Serum after having it recommended to me by my Dermatologist. He's also a plastic surgeon, working in Beverly Hills, CA- who sincerly believes that the patend in NEOVA brand products is the only COPPER PEPTIDE brand PROVEN to work. It restores collogen- supposedly better than even Retin-a (the gold standard for rinkle reduction). I am a Retin-a user and have been for 15 years. I added NEOVA in the daytime (I use Retin-A at night). I had some melasma spots that seemed to be increasing with summertime light exposer. I swear, with the FIRST USE of the NEOVA serum- my skin felt tighter, and the melasma spots seemed to lighten considerably. I'm a skeptic, too- so this is NOT MY IMAGINATION!!! I had some reddening during use of the NEOVA- so I may have to alternate days- but I have severly sensitive skin-- i also use Salycilic Acid in the AM-- so if I can handle the NEOVA- it must be pretty mild. All in all, I'm extremely impressed- and can't wait to try it again tomorrow!!!!!!
Here's the deal- don't use with Vitamin C (alternate at least 24 hours if you're gonna use both). Also-- no other acids at the same time as Copper. Otherwise- I PROMISE_ YOU WIILL LOVE IT!!!
Great, great, great.
