Skin Care Review: Mederma

by Laurel Devine

Rating
No effect

Benefits
None

Drawbacks
Burned, discolored my skin

Details
I bought a tube of Mederma cream 2 months ago and religiously applied the product 3 times per day for 8 weeks to a 3 year old scar (about a 2 inch thin line)on my forehead.

Not only was there NO improvement at all, but about the 3rd week the area became itchy and rashy. I thought this was a sign that it was starting to work.

I continued to apply Mederma until I had to stop because I noticed the skin around the scar was getting very dark and weird. My scar remains exactly the same as before I purchased the product.

Conclusions
A waste of money.
