I have suffered from acne for over 14 years. As with most acne sufferer’s acne scarring has been inevitable. I am very fair skinned and have a hard time getting the acne scars to heal. I reluctantly purchased Mederma from Walmart and applied it religiously for a week twice a day. I did not notice immediate improvement. I slowed down to only applying it at bedtime for the past month and have begun to notice some of my older scars are appearing softer. I have yet to see Mederma get rid of a scar altogether, but there is a significant improvement in the darkness of my scars. I will continue using the bottle that I have, which is huge considering it does not take that much of the product to cover the scars.
