At 52 i decided to have my acne scars removed. The doctor suggested Erbium Laser level 6. Horrible, horrible results. Changed my life. Left with huge scars all over my face & the old ones were left underneth. Redness for months. Face was so sore. Had to go for treatments to get the red out.Doctors didn't even want to touch me. Sill left with scars & a huge brown square indented mark on my right cheek & huge patch of missing skin making a scar all around the old scars on the other. I'm devistated. Had 2 Faxel treatments after 1 1/2 yrs. to try to help. Did a bit. Had injections in dents that didn't help at all. I would never suggest anyone going for this type of treatment. If u do go for the lowest level 1st. Don't let the doctor talk u into anything higher til u see ur reaction. Hurt so much I didn't sleep for 6 days straight. Had to clean ur face every 5 hrs after the surgery & put tons of cream on that did nothing to help. Don't do it!!

Conclusions
Don't do it. Can't say anymore. too much of a risk & other lasers can help more.
