Although sold as an anti-acne cream, Johnson and Johnson's "Clean & Clear" 2% salicylic acid lotion makes skin soft, smoothe and does a great job of "prepping" the skin for other cosmetics. I have found it to be effective for all skin types.

Perhaps because of the salicylic acid, this lotion has a calming and soothing effect on skin. The matte finish that it delivers without any hint of dryness makes skin look great even without makeup.

Use Clean & Clear after cleansing and before applying makeup as a "prep cream" suitable for all skin types.

Conclusions
Although designed for acne, this lotion is suitable for all skin types.
