I use this after moisturizing. Velvet skin coat makes skin look and feel smooth and soft. It helps keep my nose and forehead from looking oily. I guess you can use it between moisturizing and makeup; but, I don't use makeup.

It seems like some of the newer moisturizers leave skin looking shiny. To me, that just doesn't look finished. Velvet skin coat takes care of that. It gives skin a very soft glow without being shiny or making you look like you've put a ton of product on your face.

I've tried other DHC products and I like most of them. But, this one is a standout in my opinion. If you buy from this company, they give you an opportunity to select free samples of other products. The sample of this one is definately enough to see if it works for you unlike a few of the others I have tried.

Conclusions
I recommend this product. Use it sparingly. A little goes a long way.
