I have pale, combination skin with lots of blackheads and a few acne scars and discolorations. I'm 37, but anti-aging wasn't my primary interest in a treatment -- I was looking for something to even and brighten my skin tone, so that I would look better when I go without make-up. I've used this product three times. I'm very happy with it and will continue to use it. I haven't had many dermatologist's treatments to compare it to, but I'm surprised a drug-store, over-the-counter product could do this much. I had a very expensive "pumpkin peel" at a spa recently, and this L'Oreal product has already done more than the spa treatment did. Step 1 is a grainy scrub you're supposed to use for 1-2 minutes. It feels more intense than other scrubs I've tried. Step 2 is a nice, thick soothing cream. I'm not one for heavy creams, but this one doesn't feel greasy or heavy -- it just feels very comfortable and protective. I've used the product three times now (in six days), and my skin feels a little smoother and definitely looks more even. I haven't noticed an improvement in my blackheads, but that isn't a claim that this product makes. Besides, I've never found ANYTHING that makes a dent in those!

Conclusions
I recommend it for smoother, brighter, more even skin.
