Skin Care Review: Microdermabrasion

I decided to try Microdermabrasion to reduce the apperance of the scars left by acne when I was in my late teens.

I selected a qualified cosmetic physician who offered me a course of treatments at a reduced price.

The cosmetic physician assured me that my scars would be greatly diminished if I had about 12 treatments, once every week.

The treament itself took about 45 minutes and involved the cleansing of the face, application of a Alpha Hydroxy peel and the microdermabrasion.

After the microdermabrasion, essential oil was applied to my face followed by Photo light therapy.

The microdermbrasion did visibly reduce the enlarged pores that I suffered from and the skin did feel smoother.

However, the results did not last longer than 2 days.

After 18 treatments and about £800 spent, I don't feel that it was money worth spent. The appearance and depth of my scars have not diminished at all.
