I have moderate break-outs. Even though my break-outs are not that severe, my skin doesn't heel for a long time, leaving me with old red spots. Since the red spots are old, I thought that peeling the skin off would reduce the redness.

I had the procedure done one time only a week ago. It was peeling for about 3 days, with 1.5 days of redness and an orange coloring before the peeling. It's been about 3 days since the peeling stopped. Even though I saw slight improvements in the skin tone (not as much as I was hoping for), I've got new break-outs and new red spots, in addition to the old ones that didn't completely go away.

At the salon, all they do is put on the solution on you for about 10 minutes. Afterwards, you are supposed to keep it on for about 7 hours. They give you 2 wipes that you use two consecutive days after the application. I am not sure why it costs almost $300!

It's more of a pore cleaning procesure. If you are still breaking out, any results you get will be gone in a matter of days.

Conclusions
It's not very effective for treating scars or acne marks.
