I am 33 years old with normal/combination skin. My skin was looking pretty dull and was plagued by acne bumps around my chin, temples and forehead. I started using this 2 times a week along with the Refinisher, which I used daily. After the first time I used it, there was a huge difference in pore size. They had shrunk considerably & it seemed like they had been cleaned out as they were no longer black, even on my nose. In addition to that, other immediate noticeable benefits it gave me was a wonderful glow, improved texture & feel (skin feels like satin). My acne improved considerably while using this product also. I haven’t noticed a huge improvement in the appearance of lines, but there does seem to be some diminishment of fine lines.

The Micro-D thermal is quite gritty and you need to be very gentle while massaging it in the skin, and be careful not to overdo it. I could see how you might injure your skin if you aren’t very careful and gentle. You can feel a definite heat sensation while you are applying it, which can be a little disconcerting, but when used correctly, the results are amazing. The Refinisher itself is a joy to use. It has a satiny yet not greasy feel to it, and it also smells really nice. I usually try different skin care products but this is the only product that I will buy again when it runs out. I think it is definitely the best product Estee Lauder offers. The two products do indeed complement each other & I would definitely recommend using both the Micro-D and the Refinisher together for the best benefits.

Conclusions
The Idealist products give immediate and visible results. Well worth the investment.
