Skin Care Review: Lancome Resolution Eye D-contraxol
by Anonymous, Salt Lake City, UT USA
Easily absorbed. Does not irritate the eyes. A decent moisturizer for the eye area.
Little more than an expensive moisturizer. No UV protection. No long-term benefits.
I was lured into buying this product based on Lancome advertising D-contraxol as a patented, clinically proven wrinkle reduction formula. D-contraxol is presumably a molecular derivative of Vitamin A, from which several other clinically proven anti-wrinkle compounds (including retin-A) are also derived. I was expecting better results than what you might expect from an expensive moisturizer in a deceptively tiny bottle. Upon application, D-contraxol smoothes out the fine lines around my eyes, but I have found no obvious long-term benefits with this product despite meticulous application twice a day for 6 months. I am sure there are less expensive, non-irritating, sunscreen containing eye creams out there.
Saatisfactory moisturizer, but not worth the money.
