Skin Care Review: L'Oreal Revitalift eye

by Lisa Wood, Bad Axe, MI U.S.A.

I am 39 years of age and I have medium sensitive skin (I am able to use Renova without a problem so I'm not too sensitive). I have used the revitalift eye for about three weeks, morning and evening, just a small amount. The product made my skin sting, but not intolerably so. I kept using it and the stinging got better but if I skipped a day, it woulds sting the next day. I purchased the product in hopes that it would help reduce the puffiness around my eyes. So far I have not seen any difference, in fact, it seems as though my eyes are puffier for more days than usual and I think that the product may be contributing to it rather than helping. The only positive thing I could say about it is that it moisturizes without leaving a greasy residue. Over all I think I am not going to use this product anymore and give it a toss. I was greatly disappointed in this product because I had read excellent reviews about it on other sites. Perhaps it is just my skin and the product - I had also purchased a L'Oreal moisturizer and this had stung as well. I was also skeptical from the start - its hard to believe that you can reduce puffiness by a topical cream. I think puffiness has more to do with what is going on under the skin rather than it being a skin problem in the first place - but you know all of us who are aging - we will try just about anything. I really think that companies do all they can to capitalize on this idea.
