Skin Care Review: Elizabeth Arden Visible Difference

by KAREN CURE, HASTINGS ON HUDSON, NY USA

Rating
Satisfactory

Benefits
A pleasant cream, nice fragrance.

Drawbacks
I don't think that it really has made a Visible difference in my skin.

Details
I started using this product years ago when it first came out. I was about 30 at the time, and I was beginning to be concerned about wrinkling. I like the fragrance and the consistency of the cream. It's pleasant to smell and pleasant to use--very light and not heavy at all. When I was 30, I felt that it did make a difference when I used it consistently. However, I ran out and did not buy more. Now, 20 years later, I started using it again. I had normal skin when I was 30, and now have slightly dry skin. I have some wrinkling but not incredibly deep wrinkles; the change in my skin's texture, from fine to more coarse, particularly around my chin, is what bothers me the most. I exfoliate reulgarly. Re Visible Difference, my gut feeling is that it has been reformulated. I don't feel that I'm seeing the same results that I used to. (Perhaps this is the product -- it also could be that I'm older and am not using it quite as consistently.) However, the scent is still nice and the cream is a good one. I have started using another product, by Modele, which comes in a tube. This is made in Canada based on European formulations, and I like it even better. I am giving it a try and seeing good results.

Conclusions
Use this as a good face cream but don't count on anything more.
