Skin Care Review: Microdermabrasion

by Mary, St. Petersburg, FL USA

I saw a significant improvement in skin smoothness and firmness.

The only drawback was the price.

I was very impressed with microdermabrasion. I was about 25 when I had about 6 procedures done (about 2 weeks apart). I have mostly oily skin with a big tendency to break out on my neck. Anyhow, I wanted to reduce my chickenpoc scars, get rid of my acne, reduce wrinkles and firm up my face and neck. Well, microdermabrasion really worked on all the latter problems!I've read that it also increases and stimulates collagen growth and I believe it does. My face and neck looked a lot younger and better (more smooth and even and firm). It is important to get atleast 6 treatments though I would recommend 12 (and space them 1-2 weeks apart).

It could be better for younger women who have less deep wrinkles.
