You need to use it faithfully twice a day or the dark spots begin to resurface.

I used this product twice a day for about 6 months. It has hydroquinone in it which is said to be a lightening agent. After about six to eight weeks I could see that the brown spots were lightening. Now I also used Obagi Blender at the same time, twice a day. This product also has hydroquinone in it, so it may be the combination of the two products that actually made the difference. After six months I tried using the product less often or only using one product at a time. Then some of the dark areas began to resurface.
Conclusions
It works if you use it faithfully.
