I had 5 IPL treatments that cost around 2000 dollars. The treatment that I was given is called PhotoFacial and I saw no long-term effects with hyperpigmentation, spider veins, or rosacea. My esthetician even administered 1 free treatment because there was little difference in the appearance of my skin. I didn't get any "holes" or scarring, however, I did develop a very small fleshy bump under my eye that is there to this day. The spider veins around my nose would go away only to reappear about a week after treatment. These were not new veins. One was treated each time I went back and confirmed to be the same "pesky" vein. Some hyperpigmentation faded very little while other spots seem slightly darker. I would not recommend wasting your time or money with this treatment. I can't say that my experience was horrible but I did feel more damage than improvement was made to my skin not to mention the money out of my pocket. Now I just get Botox. Love it!
