With very fine, dry skin, I've experimented with many moisturizes over the years that claim to hydrate the skin without being greasy. As a flight attendant who works long, drying flights to Europe, moisturizing is important in the toxic airplane air.

I've tried the expensive department store brands as well as drugstore brands with no real success. Inevitably, I always had to blot my skin after applying moisturizer before applying make-up, or simply to avoid looking like a greaser!

I read a review in a fashion magazine about La Roche-Posay's Hydraphase XL (it contains the much-touted sunscreen Mexoryl that isn't available in the US yet). In addition to having a sunprotection factor of 15 "built-in", it was the smoothest facial moisturizer I've ever used! My skin absorbed the light-weight cream immediately with no need for blotting, or wiping off the excess. In fact, after applying, my face feels nearly dry to the touch, though it certainly feels and looks thoroughly hydrated.

After posting reviews on this website for two of La Roche-Posay's products, I'm beginning to understand why French women look so beautiful!
