Skin Care Review: Aqueous Cream BP

by Anonymous

Rating
Satisfactory

Benefits
The British NHS dermatologist recommends using Aqueous cream as the best moisturizer.

Drawbacks
Aqueous cream doesn't contain live ingredients to curb aging.

Details
As a basic moisturiser for the whole body, Aqueous cream is good, and can be combined with other active ingredients like antioxidants to make an effective cream to curb aging and dry skin. It is made from water, white soft paraffin, ceterayl alcohol, paraffinum liquidum, socium lauryl sulphate and a preservative, phenoxyethanol. Use once daily, massage into the skin as it is usually a thick cream. Aqueous cream is also available with vitamin E, and is a lighter cream and more easily absorbed. The commercial selling prices are affordable for most people. The best way to buy it is in a large 500g plastic pot, as the small tubes of the same cream are much more expensive.

Conclusions
Aqueous cream is recommended as a basic moisturizer for the whole body.
