Skin Care Review: Neutrogena Healthy Defense Daily Moisturizer

by Jenn, USA

This was a very effective moisturizer and provided impressive SPF 30 sun protection.

Because I use Tazorac gel, I found the sunscreen ingredients to be irritating.

Neutrogena's Healthy Defense Daily Moisturizer SPF 30 is a good, lower-priced moisturizer. It is oil-free (and so less likely to aggravate acne) and and absorbs quickly into the skin. Unlike other moisturizers, it is light and does not have a greasy feel. My makeup went easily over it.

My only complaint is that the chemicals used for the suncreen irritated my skin. Also, the moisturizer had a tendency to run, and would burn my eyes. However, this is not uncommon for moisturizers, and the only way that I know to avoid this would be to get a wax based formulation.

Good for those with normal skin, but sensitive skinned folks may want something else.
