I am a registered nurse and over the last five years, I have been experiencing eye pain. The pain was worse on days I worked so I attributed it to a combination of the air conditioning system at the hospital and eye strain from computer use. I have been to several opthamologists and was diagnosed with "dry eye". I have tried at least 15 different eye drops and was even given a prescription for Restasis (which is quite expensive). The only relief I got was flushing my eyes with warm water. I gave up mascara and eye makeup of any kind. I also tried Allegra thinking that my symptoms were more allergic in nature. My morning routine was to wash my face and apply Olay complete before my makeup. One day, I decided to go without the Olay and My eye pain was GONE!I have come to the conclusion that the pain was from a very small amount of the product getting into my eyes several hours after application just from normal perspiration of the forehead- I never applied the product anywhere near my eyes. Please be informed of this adverse effect. I suffered many years of discomfort because of this product.

Conclusions
If you use moisterizing lotion and are experiencing eye pain, discontinue use.
