Skin Care Review: Olay Complete

I am a twenty-five-year-old woman whose skin (during a long and now over quest to understand and treat persistent, resistant acne) has been through the ringer. Olay Complete is the best moisturizer I know.

Mornings, I wash with Basis Sensitive Skin Bar soap; evenings, very gently with St. Ives Apricot Scrub with Soothing Elderflower. Mornings and evenings, after patting water from my face, but not drying it, I apply Olay Complete. I apply a little more cream than absorbs immediately and do not rub the slight excess in, but allow it to absorb (and evaporate I suppose) while I brush my hair.

My facial skin does not tolerate abbrasion, as from true scrubbing or from rubbing. Nor can I use acidic active ingredients topically. In either case, my skin becomes irritated and red and dries into flakey areas especially in Winter, and my very mild acne is aggravated.
