This cream/gel was recommended by my dermotologist. Only a little is needed. It melts in with the temperature of the skin. It is very soothing if the skin is very dry. Keep it off of the furniture and sheets as it will leave oily residue. I have not found anything to moisturize as well as this. Put it on when the skin is moist and it works best that way to trap the moisture below the gel/cream. Also, I keep it at work and in my purse. In the winter I put it on under my gloves whenever I go outside and my hands simply feel wonderful when I take off the gloves. Also, it is not expensive; comes in a large jar, and lasts a long time. You only need a dab as it goes a long way.

Conclusions
I accept the drawbacks and recommend it to anyone who needs to improve dry skin.
