Aquaphor by Eucerin was recommended to me by a dermatologist for dry lips. It is sold as a "healing ointment for advanced healing for dry, cracked or irritated skin." I have found it to be effective if I use it every day - in other words, it does not permanently cure dry lips. I also have a constant dry spot above my lips that I dab it on. It has not removed the dry spot, but it keeps it under control so that the skin does not flake - plus, I may be aggravating this spot by the use of Renova. For the lips, it looks like I'm wearing lip gloss. On the area above the lips, it is a little too glossy to wear except at night.
Conclusions
I recommend this as an inexpensive and effective way to take care of dry lips.
