On occasion my skin experiences dryness and itching which worsens after bathing and using soap. A friend told me she uses a water soluble bath oil even when showering. With my last outbreak of flakiness I ventured to the pharmacy and purchased Alpha Keri Oil because I have used the Alpha Keri Silky Smooth Moisturiser for Sensitive Skin in the past with good results. Their bath oil was also one of the cheapest as an added bonus :).

I used two capfuls in a cool bath and was pleased with the results. I now use this product everytime I bathe. It can be used in the shower by applying with a sponge to wet skin. The product feels as soft as baby oil, but melts right into the skin leaving a non-greasy protective layer. I have no need to use any other cleaning product.

This product does contain lanolin, so be warned those who wish to avoid this ingredient. I have no particular sensitivity to lanolin, and like the extra moisturising effect it gives. Alpha Keri has a range of products suited to skin prone to flaking and itchiness associated with dryness, eczema and dermatitis. They work effectively for me and provide an inexpensive option for general skincare.

Conclusions
Reduces itches and flaking of the skin. Apply during a shower with a sponge, or use a spray pack.
