Skin Care Review: Skin tag removal
|
by Anonymous
Rating Satisfactory
Benefits
Removal of skin tags on chest and neck
Drawbacks
The healing process. The expense.
Details I had a dermatologist remove skin tags from my neck and chest by a burning process. It was not an easy procedure. First, I had to smear a cream on my skin and cover it with saran wrap for an hour before the appointment so that the skin would be numb and I would not feel the burning. This worked well, so the process was not painful. What I did not expect was how long it would take for the scabs to heal. It was several weeks before I felt comfortable with not covering the area when I was in public.
Conclusions
The skin tags do go away, but the healing process takes awhile.
