The laser is supposed to be multi-purpose with an advanced cooling system so that the treatment doesn't have to stop and start for client comfort/safety. I (supposedly) had thread veins removed and then a quick rejuevenation session. The rejuevenation makes you spotty but does actually seem to do something to activate the skin over the following month - it was painless and unproblematic.

The thread vein treatment on the other hand was very uncomfortable and caused skin damage which never completely healed. The notion that the laser works 'cool' seems to have the potential to encourage an unwise operator to be over-zealous. The woman who did mine was a nurse, but really I suspect didn't understand the machine she was using. she made multiple passes over the same veins, til the area was really throbbing. Very soon after treatment I noticed pits in my skin and enlarged pores - this never resolved. When I contacted the clinic for advice, I was told my results were 'atypical' - too easy a get-out I thought. Also, despite this thrashing, several of the thread veins remained.

It's possible that in gentler hands the treatment would have been beneficial, but I just would like to warn others that the machine has the potential to cause damage.

check out the practicioner and an alternative treatment if veins are the issue.
