Skin Care Review: Alpha lipoic acid lip plumper

I bought and used the alpha lipoic acid lip plumper for 2 days and developed a terrible, blistered rash on and around my lips. I stopped using the product immediately. The effects of it lasted for about 4 days. I guess I am allergic to the alpha lipoic acid in the product. I have fair skin and I am 38 years old. I haven't had adverse reactions with any other products I have used...except retin A. The prescription for retin A that I used was too strong. Ihave not tried the new alpha lipoic acid lip plumper with dmae so I don't know if I would have a reaction with that.
