I'm a fan of Kinetin products and have been using Almay's Kinetin line with good results. I read some rave reviews about the Body Shop's Kinetin product on another website and decided to try it. (In case you don't know, Kinetin is an enzyme that plants produce naturally, and that promotes healing). If you would like to brighten your skin tone, this is definitely the product for you... Within a matter of days, my skin had a nice fresh, bright glow to it. I'm not sure whether the concentration of Kinetin is stronger in this product, but it does seem to work quicker and have more dramatic effects than the Almay line. It is, however, nearly twice the cost. I have been only using it for two weeks now, but have noticed no effect on my acne scars nor on my fine lines, however.

For the purposes of comparison: I'm 35, white, and have slightly dry and very thin skin with fine lines around the eyes.

Conclusions
I'd recommend it for brightening the skin.
