Skin Care Review: Obagi product line

Benefits
Removed brown spots due to sun/aging, slightly peeled the skin

Drawbacks
Very unattractive for about 12 weeks due to redness, itching, skin flaking

Details
Obagi product line line did not deliver as much benefit as I hoped. There was at least 12 weeks of discomfort and embarassment. More for people with sun damage and discoloration. Did not help with finer wrinkles. The brown spots due to sun and being 40+ years old definitely faded. Skin is clearer, but it was a long and painful process. My face actually hurt due to the dryness and the resulting "pulled feeling". Skin was VERY red with constant flaking. I would rather have a true peeling. Retin A is an integral part of this product line. It would be difficult to use as prescribed and go work at a public place. My skin looks healthier though.

Conclusions
Would recomment for skin problems/blemishes due to sun damage, but not for rejuvenation of healthy looking skin.
