Not noticed the drawbacks. But sure we should wear Suncreen to protect it.

I used SkinCeutical C-10 and Proto+ to lighten my age spot and upper lip pigmentation. It works slightly and slowly but people commented that my is clear. It works. It lighten my skin better when using with Photo + lighten serum. it I made my skin clear after using for 1 week. If I stop use it, the age spot come back. I used it with Photo+. If I only use Proto+ alone it doesn't help. So, it must be the SkinCeuticals serum 10 who did the work! I am thinking about using their serum-20 which is stronger that might clear my spots faster. The good thing about this product is it's not too bad making my skin sensitive to the sun as those in the Obagi system.

Conclusions
Yes, I recommeded it.
