High vitamin cod liver oil produced by Green Pastures is a fabulous food supplement that nourishes the skin, and people can notice a difference in the appearance of their skin in two weeks. This cod liver oil (especially when fermented) contains omega 3, 6, 7, and 9 which all nourish the skin. Additionally, high vitamin cod liver oil contains large amounts of vitamin A which nourishes the skin. I have used this supplement for ten months now and have supple, elastic skin, and I am fifty-seven years old. I have recommended this skin to several friends and am always amazed at how rapidly their skin will improve at all levels. Before taking this supplement, it is advisable to have one's vitamin D levels checked to determine how much cod liver oil should be taken. The name of the test is vitamin d-OH25, and ideal levels are between 50-60. One can take one-two tablespoons a day to achieve this level depending upon one's vitamin D levels.
