I am doing a 10-week series that includes light therapy, accupuncture, electro something that feels like quick rapid sharp needles. I also get deep facials and soothing moisturizing masks. Carrol is thorough and careful. Sensitive to my whole body, checking my pulse and tongue before session. I come away relaxed. My skin feels amazingly soft. But I am not seeing the big imrprovements I had hoped to seegoing on my ninth session. My one wriinkled area is not improving. The wrinkes are too deep. I do use tretinoin at home regularly to exfoliate dead skin cells. It works and I would like to continue the regimen, though the product I am using, Obagi, is very expensive. I have also been using all the recommended Obagi products daily as directed by my doctor who does facial surgery, Elizabeth Stass Lee, in Oakland California. I think, based upon my recent sessions, that I could be starting to build up collagen, but that might be wishful thinking. I am 59, long past menstruation, and do not take hrt's. I would like to learn as much as I can about the skin's needs so that I can do a lot of the work on my own.
