Fifteen years ago i read a newspaper article about a husband and wife doctor team named alastair and jean carruthers from vancouver, canada, who were pioneering the use of botulism for wrinkles. Over that fifteen year period many articles have been written on the couple as well as many research papers regarding the procedure. I decided that if wrinkles were ever a concern for me i would definitely go to the team that pioneered botox figuring that they would have the most experience with it. Well, wrinkles did become a concern for me and i did make an appointment with Dr. Alastair Carruthers. My experience with him was very positive and i felt very comfortable having the injections. His philosophy is to go slowly and as a result i have not noticed a major differance with my facial wrinkles. But two major things did happen. I do not have serious frown lines which i feel makes me look happier and i no longer get "frown headaches" which plagued me in times of serious concentration or when driving. I have still not decided whether these benefits are worth a thousand dollars every three months or not.

Conclusions
Dr. Carruthers lived up to his reputation as being an expert on botox.
