I was delighted to discover both Drs. Alistair and Jean Carruthers through their innovative research programs. As you may know, Dr. Jean Carruthers's research work led to the invention of Botox Cosmetic and both Drs. Carruthers are known internationally as leaders in their field. After some less-than-impressive treatment with other Vancouver doctors offering IPL, and seeing what those same doctors had failed to achieve for friends who sought improvements from such things as Botox and injectable fillers, I was much relieved to find that the Carruuthers's treatments were only marginally more expensive than their less-than-expert competition. And their skills are remarkable. Their success is such that they don't have to rely on sales pitches and they don't pressure patients to accept more treatment than one might have budgeted for. My budget is very modest, as these things go, but I've always felt that Dr. Alistair C. has plenty of time for me and is very thoughtful. He even went so far as to ask detailed questions about a chronic back pain problem and sent me to his personal physiotherapist. I have no reservations in saying Dr. Alistair C. is a GREAT doctor. While I haven't had the opportunity to get to know Dr. Jean C. as well as her husband, I'd be willing to give her my complete confidence.
