I went to a dermatologist becasue I had acne scars from my childhood. When I was young, I went to a dermatologist for acne. The doctor used to use a sharp instrument and burst the pimples on my face. He followed this with an ultra violet light treatment. As a result, I have deep scars on my face. I have been trying to fade those scars for years. I have used many over the counter products but nothing worked. I also had a lot of discoloration on my face. Eventually, I went to see a dermatologist in Indianapolis. He was using the Obagi treatment system. He said it would improve the overall appearance of my skin. The Obagi system did improve the overall appearance of my skin. However, I had to have a prescription from a physician, and my doctor was almost 100 miles away. When he stopped shipping the products, I had to drive all the way to Indianapolis to get the products. Because of the inconvenience of getting the products, I stopped using the Obagi treatment system. After I stopped using the products, my skin immediatley returned to its former appearance. The products only temporarily improved the appearance of my skin. I still have the acne scars and the disolocation in my skin. Consequently, I am still looking for a product or products that will permanently improve the condition of my skin.

Conclusions
The Obaji system improves the appearance of the skin, but the effect is temporary.
