|
submitted by Kath Henderson, Wellington, New Zealand
Provider (individual) Dr Bruce Taylor, MD
Provider Facility
Treatment Multiple treatm.
Address / Location:
8 Upland Road, Kelburn
Wellington,
New Zealand
Rating Good
Benefits
More control over condition of my skin on face and hands.
Drawbacks
Some skin symptoms are resistant to any treatment tried so far.
Details I have very fair, aging skin which has had uneven pigmentation from my 40's improved by a light skin peel at that time.
The acid skin peel was followed by skin check ups each year and freezing of pigmentation or other sun damage in small areas on my face, hands and arms. I feel this has kept control of the sun damage from the point of view of monitoring it and halting any damage that is particularly obvious or that will possibly advance to health threatening stages. I also developed several years ago some Rosacea around my centre face. Dr Taylor improved this by prescribing Rosex gel(containing metronidazole at a strength of .75%)I have also learned that watching stress levels and diet helps the Rosacea.
Conclusions
Very important to always avoid sun damage to skin and to seek professional advice early.
Price (paid by reviewer) $200 per year
