I haven't discovered any drawbacks, and I don't dread visiting him.

Details
I'm one of those people for whom there's always something suspicious appearing on my skin, usually my face. I've gone through a lot with dermatologists, everything from half a dozen visits before we ever got around to addressing any problems to surgery that left me looking (still) as if I've been in a knife fight.

When Dr. Raque walks into the room where I'm waiting, there's not a lot of chit-chat. He sits down and begins studying my skin, gets out his canister of whatever the cold stuff is, zaps a dozen or so spots that could become cancerous but will now scab over and fall off in a week or so, and we're done for another year.

I think, unlike my past dermatologists, the dollar isn't the raison d'etre for him. He cares about treating skin problems, cares for his patients, and bases his practice on this.

Conclusions
If I had found him 20 years ago, I would be ahead physically, emotionally and financially.
