I have received two Botox treatments in the past two years, spaced about a year apart. Both treatments were for the forehead only. These treatments were administered by my dermatologist. There was a very slight discomfort as the injections were administered but that went away in a few minutes. The doctor used a marker pen to dot my forehead for accuracy when administering the injections. The injections were directly on my wrinkles, there were probably about 10 injection points total. Once done, it's crucial to not close your eyes or lie down for at least two hours, keep your eyes open and your head upright. Botox worked extremely well, and I had pretty severe wrinkles due to squinting to correct my astigmatism. I would caution people to never have Botox more than once a year. It's strong stuff and lasts at least a year (I'm going to wait 18 months before I use it again) despite manufacturer recommendations of re administering every 6-9 months. If you want to avoid what I call Nicole Kidman face (expressionless) wait a year between injections. I paid $400 for my treatment and I feel that Botox is reasonably priced compared to other anti wrinkle treatments. Make sure you find a good dermatologist/cosmetic surgeon since where and how much to inject are determined by the doctor, and over or under-use of Botox will leave you with unsatisfactory results.

Conclusions
Great for forehead wrinkles, find a good MD, and don't use it too often
